Assuming an average monthly electricity usage is&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eia.gov\/electricity\/sales_revenue_price\/pdf\/table_5A.pdf?fbclid=IwAR0DX7Zar389C6UvfaV8lIVt2ME74Uk02yZa9sqVxHr8ADZVRdFYRoD6A5s\">854 kWh<\/a>, that means the PTC cost is about $85.40 per month.&nbsp;We can do much better than that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First let&#8217;s look at our cheapest plan, from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.paenergyratings.com\/companies\/public-power\">Public Power<\/a><\/strong>. Their <strong>Electric 12 Month Standard Fixed Rate <\/strong>is only 7.39 cents per kWh. And so you could save a whopping $23 a month. That&#8217;s $276 in a year! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are no monthly fees, but there is a small $50 early termination fee to be aware of. The catch is this plan is only for new <strong>Public Power<\/strong> customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, <strong>Public Power<\/strong> will send two contract expiration notices out before your contract end. Customers need to watch for them because if you don\u2019t choose to cancel or pick a new plan, the provider will automatically renew you to their variable rate plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Get Rewarded for Saving on Electricity <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want a provider with great rewards, look no further than\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.paenergyratings.com\/companies\/xoom-energy\">Xoom Energy<\/a><\/strong>. And like our previous plan, you&#8217;ll receive notices when your contract expires. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Shop Our Top Electric Providers&#8217; Plans<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our next plan comes from our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paenergyratings.com\/read-reviews\">#4 rated electricity provider<\/a>. The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.paenergyratings.com\/companies\/apge\">APG&amp;E<\/a> TrueSimple 12<\/strong> is only 8.59 cents per kWh. This plan does come with a $1.99 monthly charge and a $150 early termination fee. <strong>APG&amp;E<\/strong>\u00a0also notifies you when your contract is about expire.
