“ WGL came in at a lower than first energy and now Im paying 3 cents per KWH higher than first energy in Pennsylvania. I transferred back to first energy and now theyre hitting me up with a $90 cancellation charge that they never told me about on the phone. My recommendation is to stick with your local utility provider and stay away from companies like WGL that has hidden penalties so they can take more money from you. ”
“ My current energy supplier Delmarva Power informed me in the first week of April that my services have been transferred to WGL Energy as I have enrolled with them!!! I had never even heard of WGL services and had never consented to be enrolled with them. I have absolutely no idea how they would have changed the supplier on my account without my consent, prior approval, or knowledge? I called Delmarva Power and disputed the transfer. On their advice I called WLG services and told them that I have never enrolled with them. Today I received a letter from WGL Energy stating that cancellation charges may apply and the same would be included in the next bill and if I have any questions, I should speak to their Customer Advocates. This is ABSURD!!!!!! ”

“ received a call from wgl telling me the would receive 20% off of my electric bill butt once I signed up it was actually 50% percent higher than my previous supplier from 7.1 cents to 15.99 cents per kilowatt. They told me my previous contract was over and I still had 6 months left at the 7.1 , so their lies cost me over $300 dollars so please beware of these scammed, times are tough for everyone so these parasites are just looking to steal your money by lies and dishonesty ”
