Incredible Energy Company!!!!!!

  Ambit Energy has Great Fixed Rate Term Plans. I have used 2 Travel Rewards so far and have been very Pleased.I have referred more than 15 Customers and now get the Customer Referral Credit through the "Earn Free Energy" program, which has Significantly Reduced my monthly Electric Bill.Having a Personal Consultant who is very knowledgeable and looks out for my best interest is wonderful.What more can I say, this is an Incredible Energy Company!!!!!!

  I was able to swith providers quickly and easily and I like the fact that I can refer friends and family and earn credit on my electricity bill. Their rates are lowerthan most. I reap the benefits since they don't do corporate advertising.

  I switched to Ambit from TXU when I moved 2 yrs. ago. The rate was much better with Ambit but has since went up some. I havent taken advantage of the rewards etc. but have recomended to friends and family.

  Ambit is not the place to have your electric. The company does not help in times of need with a one day extension. That's sorry if I've ever heard of it. The company can't tell me that they have majority customers satisfied. They are going against the economy instead of with the economy. In my opinon, AMBIT is SORRY...

  I live in a 950 sqft. duplex. Every month there is something new with this company. Only two people live in my house but the bill is outrageous.... Just don't do it... Think about another company....

  The company start with a lower rate and then without notice your rates increase. The rates increase every month until you have a bill over 500 hundred dollars.

What a joke!!

  I was handed over to Ambit from a company that failed. They never discussed plans just started charging mt 17 cents KWH. When I changed companies they tried to charge me the $250. early termination fee. My bills were almost $900. a month. Don't let you account expire they will charge you what ever they want.

  I personally would not recommend this company to no one. They are not like most companies. They do not offer an extension and is not willing to work with you. The prices are extremely high. My bill for one month was $600. There is only two people residing in my home. I don't have the money to pay a deposit with another company, but as soon as I do this company will be HISTORY.

  Reasons for avaoiding Ambit Energy:1. Horrible customer service2. The website never works (cannot pay online, cannot view bills online) -links are always broken3. Tons of hidden fees when you cancel your policy after having had enough.We are going back to Reliant - should have never left...

  I had been with TXU for thirty years when I started with them they were Texas Electric and a people company and after that length of time they told me they could offer me a 12.2 kwh with a two year contract, you would think after that many years they could do better then that. I sign with Ambit for 9.9 and they have been great.

  I have been an Ambit customer for 25 months. In April, 2009, I had $3,000 worht of energy upgrades to my house done by Efficient Attic Systems. The 7/15/09 Ambit bikll went up in usage and cost from 7/08. I asked Ambit and EAS to offer an explanantion. Neither did. Although the bill was in dispute, Ambit cut off my electricity om 8/1/09. I am reporting Ambit and EAS to the Public Utility Commission.

"Fixed" to screw you!

  I unfortunately stayed with Ambit Energy 2yrs. Their "fixed" rate billing is; shall we say it's fixed alright, fixed to screw you.
As with any electric company the billed amount are great at first and your thanking god for smaller electric bills. My bills are 3x what they were last year at this time.
My advice is no matter their incentive DON'T go with Ambit Energy.

  Ambit energy stinks and I give them a big fat goose egg! I was purchased (as were you if you have them for a provider) from another energy company. All I receive is late notices and "projected" and "estimated" bills and I pay my bill online ON TIME!!! I'm switching today. C U Later "Ambigator".
