Bounce Energy was founded in 2008 in Houston, Texas and has since become one of the fastest growing retail electricity providers in the state. Bounce has been innovative with the technology options in their customer account management software and have a variety of different rewards programs from which a customer can select. They're extremely active with their customers on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media outlets and their customers also can take advantage of one of the most robust refer-a-friend programs available. In 2012 they received the highest level of excellence from JD Power & Associates customer surveys, and they've consistently been ranked as one of the Top 2 of my Texas Electricity Ratings since 2011. I'd say they've come a long way since opening their doors in 2008. Bounce Energy has recently expanded their service into New York and Pennsylvania.

  I've only been a customer for three months, but so far all of my
experiences have been very positive. Prompt, helpful customer service +
they have lots of promotions (e.g. weekly credits on your bill for one
Facebook fan, special deals if you've paid your bill on time for 6 months,
12 months, 18 months, etc.). Plus, their prices are great.

  When we first moved to Dallas, I lucked out in picking Bounce Energy to provide our electricity. Little did I know they offer great customer service, access to numerous promotions through email or Facebook, and I get a great locked rate. I would definitely recommend Bounce Energy and I don't ever plan on switching companies. Thanks, Bounce Energy!

  After being a Reliant customer for many years, I finally decided to try one of the little guys. After much research, I found Bounce. What luck!! My bills are much lower, customer service is great, and there are always perks for the customers.

  I have had the best experience and delight in paying my bill to Bounce Energy. I had been paying over $600 a month in the summer which has been reduced several hundred dollars for the summer months and under $100 in fall and winter. I love the savings!!

  I've used Reliant and Champion and Bounce got me the best fixed rates. They were also very helpful when I sold a rental property and needed some short term electricity without a lot of hassle.

Worst Ever. 100% SCAM. Beware!!!

  Realized that I had been paying for supposed disconnection orders (an additional $65 per bill) from three months prior to the billing date. I haven't had my service disconnected! It was a small line on the back of the bill that I finally noticed. Customer service = HORRIBLE! To resolve the issue took at least an on the phone and then they acted as if they were doing ME a favor to resolve their mistake!

  Worst customer service ever. I am not sure if it is a training issue or attitude problem. Once my contract is up, we will not renew. Most of our neighbors also are under contract and sad to say we are all not renewing!

  This company is saving me so much money. My bills are half what they used to be. This month I qualified for a promotional discount (dont remember what it was), so I was credited $75. My bil this month is $8!!!

  Have had numerous negative customer service experiences and problems with my bill. They consistently mismanaged my account and when I would call to deal with the different issues, I had to explain the issues to approx. 4 people with often not receiving any resolution. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and their operators and smug and curt. I wholeheartedly do not recommend this company.

  I have been with Bounce Energy for 3 months and pay as soon as I get the bill. So far, two of the three months I have had to spend a tremendous amount of time on the telephone with them because my payments have not been posted. I pay as much as 17 days before the bill is due and I still have to pay with a credit card because Bounce has not posted the payment. I would never recommend this company. Custiomer Service is NOT a priority with Bounce.

BEWARE OF BILLING SCAM

  Rates are ok, however the billing is a nightmare. For three months sent in payments on time and kept getting disconnection notices. Called on hold 30min, prompted to to converse through e-mail. Finally got a person who explained my bank was holding the funds. I pay all my bills on line, bounce is the only company to ever say they weren't getting paid. Wants you to use a pay service, don't think so, my bank is FREE. How many other people get scammed paying so called late charges.

  Switched from Reliant three months ago, best thing I have done to save money in a while. Customer service was OUTSTANDING. The web platform is the best I have seen in the industry.. Love the rewards program.. They even were able to switch me from DISH network to DIRECTV and save me hundreds of $$. Other companies should learn from Bounce Energy, customer service still lives in America.
