“ Horrible company. Promises to notify you at the end of your fixed rate term but doesn't and then charges quadruple the rate per kilowatt hour on a monthly basis, more than double the rate of the second most expensive company, and far more than the average rate. ”
“ A Tomorrow Energy representative (wearing a badge of another competitor, who I have a contract with currently) visited my neighborhood, knocking on doors. He claimed that there was an error on my PECO bill, and he would help resolve the issue. It was a bait and switch to sign up for Tomorrow Energy service, and he never disclosed his employer's name. He forged my signature (misspelled, even!) on the order transfer paper, and never stated anything about switching service providers. I didn't know what happened until I got confirmation emails from Tomorrow Energy. PECO rep said that this is a common tactic to get people to unwittingly switch providers. Do NOT provide these clowns with any information, or you will spend the day trying to undo the damage. The rep was a super polite young man, and there were a few obvious tip offs that I didn't question hard enough (sweating profusely - seriously!). Anyway, buyer beware. Tomorrow Energy did cancel the switch (I hope!) when I called immediately. PECO just said to keep an eye out for the next few days. ”
“ to those interested in solving customer problems, this company is the worst garbage there is. renewed my 12 month plan without consulting me, raised the price by 50%. when I call to complain or cancel my plan THAT I DID NOT RENEW, they transfer the call and I can never solve my problem. GARBAGE GARBAGE GARBAGE ”
“ Sales person showed up at my door claiming neighbor filed a complaint regarding being overcharged. Wanted to see my bill so they could adjust it to the correct rate. Never mentioned they were with tomorrow energy. Received an email with a two year contract. What they did constitutes fraud and violates PA law. I immediately called the company and told them to cancel my account. ”
“
Tomorrow Energy is a scam! I dont even remember signing up. Shame on me! Apparently in June I didnt renew my contract & my rate went a variable rate. My bill was astronomical! When I called to inquire I was advised they mailed me a letter. I never received it. Had no idea this was going on! I did cancel my account on 8/23. I just hope I can someone not be a sucker like me.

“ they can not find my bill and I have been paying for one year ”
“ Apirl 10 2015 my dad who was in his late 80's signed up with Sperian Energy at $0.1069 per kWh a 6 month term he had a little Demetia and Altamars was not to up on the 6 month contract. They had auto pay and over the years could not understand why the Electric bills keep increasing quite a bit. They did not know that they had to renegotiate the contract they had. Sperian Changed to Tomorrow Energy and their rate increased greatly to $0.18 to $0.24 to the last bill of $0.25. I was able to get the account back to Atlantic City Electric which was around $0.10 from 2015 to 2022 from 2020 to 2022 they were paying over $100.00 to $300.00 per month for electric more than they would have with Atlantic City Electric. When I spoke to them they offered a $50.00 Amazon Gift card and then when talking to the NJ BPU they offered $323.24 which was nothing compared for what spent over the years still have not seen the $50.00 gift card or the $323.24.... from Tomorrow Energy. ”
“ Signed me up for a plan i never wanted or asked for ”
“ Doubled my rate ”
“
They screw you just like everyone else. Stick with your original power company. $.07 to $.17 over night just to screw everyone they can before you cancel them. Crooks. They should be in prison.
Update:
I had a lengthy conservation with 2 different customer service reps and they continued to lie and say pound sand haha we screwed you and will not do anything about it. first they say " would you like to add a phone number or email address to your account?" i said hold that thought. Then they proceed to say we contact you before your contract expires. I said well that's funny considering you do not have contact info for me. they claim they mailed a letter, now grant it the USPS is as useless as tomorrow energy but there again not my problem. If you are going to play the "we sent a letter" card then you better send it certified or fed-ex with tracking if you actually wanted to make sure customers get it before you stick it to them so you have actual proof that you did your job. I can tell you all day I sent a cancellation letter and tomorrow energy will just say we didn't get it. But they are the first ones to say "we sent a letter and are not required to prove it but we can email you a copy of the letter" (we never mailed) in this modern world it is very easy to do small things if you run a legitimate company to make sure you are not taking people over if you actually cared. But when you make millions screwing everyone over knowing the big money is in the details you are hiding then you keep doing as little as possible to make sure every so called customer gets taken over hard that last time when they send a bill and its too late. Stay away from these scammers. ”
“ They completely lie to your face about what you will pay and promise that your bills will go down. LIES and more LIES!! I went from paying $40 a month to $300! I hope every person knocking on doors selling lies and decit fails in everything they do! So not cool! ”
“ I could not get a new plan price that wasn't 3 times what I had previously paid. They forced me to change providers. Also they gave an incorrect date on the notice, so I paid much more of that higher price on the transition. I should have gone and found the original paper work instead of trusting them. They basically got their early termination fee out of me in the disguise of a much higher energy rate. ”
“ They came to door stating they were from. Electric company. Had and badge and jacket. Barely legible. Can read "energy". Didn't put two and two together at first. They questioned about being tricked into suppliers and acted like they were looking out for you. They told be they were gonna switch us over to them to avoid increasing rates. I said. No I'm not interested in switching anything.. Then they said why did I waste his time. ”
“ WAS NOT GOOD I APPLIED FOR IT WITH NO DEPOST THEN ABOUT AMONTH LATER MY LIGHT GOT DISCONNECTED DUE TO AN ERROR ON MY APPLICATION AND NOW IT REQUIRED A DEPOSIT..A MONTH LATER ”
“ A Salesperson came to my door and straight up lied and tricked me. She told me that she was sent by first energy to get a charge removed from my energy bill that I did not need to pay anymore. She told me they sent a notice that I did not reply to, and that is why Toledo edison sent her to help. She was lying and tricked me into switching over to Tomorrow Energy. She made me lie on the phone and say she left the premises when she was still there. My electricity bill was going to double when I actually looked into the rates. Luckily I was able to call the next day and rescind the contract before it took effect. Seriously THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. ”
“
These people come to my apartment almost every day. They bang on the door for upwards of 15 minutes at a time. One time I opened the door thinking it was a friend or neighbor as the person was wearing a jacket, only for them to start stepping inside my apartment. Everytime they show up they demand to see my PSEG bill and tell me its "urgent" they see it.
Do not fall for this. It is a scam. They have been at our building for a week and come back every day. ”
“ unbelievable and inadmissible... my account went from 85 dollars to 345... it's just me and my wife... we work all day out... inexplicable... i would very much like if the website were to adopt the NEGATIVE STARS option. .. what I have left is to pay the bill because there is no other ENERGY SUPPLIER where I live... COMPATIBLE WITH THIRD WORLD COMPANIES... and nobody (governors) does anything! it is up to us mere mortal workers to bear the consequences. ”
“ Smooth transition at a good price. ”
“ So I received a mail mentioning I had been enrolled in Tomorrow Energy. My previous supplier called me to verify that I wanted to cancel my service and that's when I realized the salespeople for Tomorrow Energy had enrolled me without my consent. Two salespeople came to my apartment and asked to see my bill. They said something about us overpaying and that we'd be getting credits for overpaying. I thought nothing of it but now I know they took info from my bill and enrolled me into their services without even mentioning a single word of doing it... Time to make some legal calls. ”
“ We were very happy with service and price during the duration of our 1 yr. contract. However, when I called to renew, they quoted a price 49% higher than I'm now paying! They still are offering the lower price for your first year. So, be careful the year 1 price is come-on to get you in the door. ”
