“ Its very good electric company and I have been using since 1 and 1/2 year without any problem. After switching to this provider my bill almost reduced to half. Also they have very good reward program and gives you cash back of $50 , $25 etc on time to time like for 3 or 6 months or if autopay chosen. Their rates are decent and didn't get any problems so far and it is very easy to switch to Bounce Energy. NOT SURE WHY PEOPLE ARE GIVING NEGATIVE REVIEWS. “ 1. I wanted to add a new service to my account. So I tried using the "Transfer of Service" option, it worked fine until I hit Submit. It gave me an error. Then I tried the chat, but was told that that functionality does not work and I have call them. So I called them. I was told that they see 3 ESI ID's for my new address and I was asked to resolve this with Centerpoint and call Bounce Energy when I have the right ESI ID. Then I tried the ESI ID lookup ( by searching on Google), it showed precisly ONE ESI ID for the address. So I called them back, this time they helped me without asking me for the ESI Id, the rep was too good, he did the ESI ID look up etc and setup the account. So the previous rep didnot even care to do the lookup.2. I got a DISCONNECT notice for my another account for non-payment of balance. I tried to login, there system was down. So I called, I was told they cannot help since they too cannot access the system. So I chatted the next day, I was told that the notice was sent in error, and they have no way to find errorneous notices sent. (They did give me a 5 dollar bill credit) ”
“ I am a customer since 2009 and had a good experience. The company changed, they keep changing there policy contract to get more money from you. They give a lower rate but at the end you pay more as they charge high disconnection fees for being late just hours and others. They used to give a fair 3 day late notice to charge per contract, but now, is just after being late for hours. Please check your bill carefully and will see how you finish paying much higher rates due to hidden charges. Called customer service and they told me they can "adjust" the contract as they see fit". Recommend to stay away from Bounce as they are not transparent with you. ”

“ We have had Bounce Energy for 5 months now and have been extremely satisified! We signed up online because that was the only way to get it the cheapest and we could customize our plan to our needs. They also gave us a bill credit and give us a bill credit for special promotions when they are running. We have not had any problems with our bill and trust that if we did they would gladly take care of it. We previously had Tri eagle but are much happier with our savings and over all experience with Bounce. ”

Well. after many many phone calls speaking to everyone as we were switched around, and given the run-around, we were lied to multiple times. To date not one point/mile has been transfered, after more promises then one could imagine. Each and every time, we called in asking about the miles that were not reported, we were promised faithfully the miles would be transfered to American immediately. it has NEVER happened. And their rewards are even better!!! I was with reliant before and signed up to what I thought was a good deal but was greatly misled and suckered into their trap. Bounce offers 6 month to 24 month plans at least give it a try! The customer service has always been helpful and on point. ”

“ Every time I call Bounce I have to wait 20 - 25 minutes to get a customer service representative. Then, if you are not interested in renewing they have no interest in answering any questions, but only to tell you not to believe the rates their competitors are offering. ”

They offered a $150 for switching. I was supposed to receive after 3 on-time payments and I'm pretty good at keeping up with those things except this time. I sent an email 2 weeks ago, after 7 months of not having received the gift card, and they never responded. I called this morning and they apologized and said that I was supposed to have called, which is a lie: the terms stated that I was supposed to make a selection online and I did.
Same with their rewards programs. They say you can select/redeem online, but there's nowhere on their website. I had to call and they sent an email saying I had to respond to an email from another company which sends the gift cards and the other company never sent the email. I had to call again and finally received the card.
Don't sign up if you don't want to pay enormous extra (dubious) fees which you get back in form of "rewards" if you spend a lot of time calling customer service.
BTW, all the great reviewers seem to just do it to post their codes, so that they get the referral bonus. ”
“ Contacted these people because one of my tenants were using them and the power was already in the home. I work out with them to continue the service, create me and account and just forward the bill to my home address. Easy Right......Nope. These people turn the power off right in the middle of a major cleaning job. Then they tell me to contact some other company call Oncor because I might have a "power outage" in the area. .... wrong.....They created the power outage on just my home. On top of that I had to wait for a customer service rep to get on line for over an hour. You can use this company if you like .....but I would highly not recommend it !!! ”
