THEY WANT THE PUC TO GET THEIR ACCOUNT CREDITED FOR HIGH AMOUNTS AND HAVE UGI RETURN AND REINSTALL PREVIOUS METER (DEMAND METER) THAT WAS IN THEIR BUILDING THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN REMOVED.

COMPLAINANT STATES THAT IT TOOK UGI 2 YEARS AND 2 MONTHS TO REALIZE THAT A PROBLEM HAD OCCURED WITH THEIR EQUIPMENT. HE STATES THAT HIS WIFE CALLED UGI ABOUT THEIR EXTREMELY LOW BILLS, AND THEY TOLD HER SIMPLY TO PAY THE BILLED AMOUNT. THEY NOW WANT TO SHUT OFF HIS SERVICE. HE WANTS THE PUC TO MAKE UGI ADJUST HIS BALANCE AS UGI IS PARTIALLY RESPONDIBLE FOR THIS, AND HELP HIM WORK OUT PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE PART OF THIS THAT HE OWES.

THE POST OFFICE IS INVESTIGATING THIS. THEY HAVE BEEN SENT AN EVICTION NOTICE SAYING THAT THEY MADE NO ATTEMPT TO PAY THEIR BILL. THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THE BILL FOR A SMALL STUDIO APARTMENT CAME TO $602.00. THE OTHER TENANTS ONLY PAY $25.00 FOR THEIR ELECTRIC. THEY WANT THE PUC TO RESTORE THEIR ELECTRIC, STOP THE EVICTION THREATS, AND HELP THEM CLEAR UP THEIR BILL AND THEIR CREDIT RATING.

COMPLAINANT STATES HIS CONTRACT EXPIRED IN MAY 2000. THE CONTRACT WAS NOT RENEWED BY DEFAULT AND IT SHOULD BE GOING BACK TO THE ORIGINAL SUPPLIER GPU, BUT UGI KEPT ON BILLING THEM. THEY WANT THE PUC TO PUT UGI ON NOTICE AND ASK THEM TO REFUND THE EXCESS AMOUNT THEY WERE CHARGING HIM.

ON 12/2/00 HE WENT TO LOOK AT HOUSE AND TOOK NOTICE THERE WAS NO ELECTRICITY. HE CALLED UGI AND WAS TOLD THAT THE POWER WAS SHUT OFF AS OF 12/1/00 BY REQUEST. HIS MOTHER NEVER CALLED TO REQ- UEST THIS TO BE DONE. HE WANTS THE PUC TO FIND OUT WHO HAD THE POWER SHUT OFF.
