Service performed

A Penelec line crew recently replaced a street light in our yard. The crew was incredibly helpful, courteous and friendly. Their work was flawless. As they had to enter the north end of our property they made a couple of small ruts. They informed us they would have those repaired. The next morning Afton Landscaping showed up and treated our lawn as if they were addressing a golf course. Very impressive. This is the third time since moving here that Penelecs response has been wonderful.

Can't reach them

I've been trying to reach them for two days to make arrangements for upgrades for my electrician. They won't answer the phone or call back.

The wait times are hours long and even when someone answers, they bump you to someone else with yet another 2-4 hour wait.

I'm used to bad service these days, but this terrible company takes it to a new, lower level

Garbage

Was given 6 times power would be restored still nothing! This 3 inches of snow and you fucking idiots cant deal with it!

Painful hold time

I had to hold for 45 minutes. torture. When I elect to have Penelec call me back, they never call back.

Gotta Do Better

Have live in Great Bend 4 yrs now we loose power whenever the wind blows over 5 mph. It July 22 2024 and weve lost power over 5 times already this year. Penelec/ First Energy has no problem raising rates for their substandard service.

Indifferent, lackadaisical, incompetent.

Youd have a better experience with a crank flashlight and some matches. This company is absolutely worthless and seems to go out of the way to ensure you wont get proper customer service.

Power outages

My power is out couple times a month on average maybe more, can't understand how this is possible you swear I live in Rome Alaska, then when you call in to them you get to talk to an animated person but they never miss on sending that bill every month! How bout everytime the power goes take some money off my bill to start! If your gonna tell me it's trees falling in your lines then cut them away from your power lines or pay someone to do it with the money you charge your customers! Come on get your act together people

Worst Company

Every year we are left without power for multiple days in a row multiple times during the year, not to mention during snowstorms..left in the freezing cold
For days.This is absolutely ridiculous. If we didnt buy a generator wed have tons of spoiled food as well. This company is the absolute worst.
