Did I miss something on order form?
I only gave 3 stars on recommendations and price because I'm not sure if I read the agreement correctly and will have to contact them. My bill reflects the correct price per kwh but also has an additional customer charge of $9.95. I don't recall seeing that cost specifically but will look into it.

I havent been contacted by them...wasn't sure the transfer was completed
After completing the online service transfer, I never heard a word that the transfer went through. I was thinking about signing up with another company when I got this survey. I didn't want to give them bad or good marks since there was no contact with them.

Bait and switch
Was in a contract for some time at a low price, but when the contract expires if you don't remember they will charge you predatory rates to make up for it instead of actually charging you reasonable amounts. We got hosed for a few hundred because of this, needless to say I'll be steering people away from them for the foreseeable future. This will cost them way more than simply doubling my bill.

THIS FRONTIER ENERGY IS HORRIBLE!!!!
They gave us a comparable rate for a few months, then when it was time to renew they TRIPLED the rates. we got a bill that was several hundred dollars higher than what it would be with ppl. no way should this be allowed to happen the rates should not price gouge the customer if they dont switch and hop off month to month. THIS IS A JOKE

Jacked up my rate to 0.19 when energy prices dropped everywhere else.
My plan with them ended, and they hit me with a 0.19 rate. Check this out. I used 341KwH in April and my bill was $62.59, then in May I used 305kWh...that's 36kWh LESS than April, and because they jacked up my rate my bill was $100.34! I'm totally not paying that, because it's taking advantage, it's usury, it's a rip off, AND because this is an 1100 sq. ft. apartment, not a 3-bedroom townhouse, and no way should my bill be that high, EVER. Especially when rates are now in the 0.089 range. Then I called and complained and they told me to call PP&L, who then told me to call Frontier, which of course makes sense since THEY are the ones responsible for this jacked up rate. And the other thing is, no advance notification of a higher rate about to be charged? They just shoot your rate up without telling you?? What kind of crap is that???

All these companies move you to a crazy-expensive plan upon expiration of the original deal. But, unlike others I have dealt with, Frontier doesn't let you cancel for two billing cycles. So, a gotcha scam! And shame on the PUC for letting this happen.

Buyer beware
Used frontier for over a year, last month they went from .08 to 19 cents and charged a 9.95 fee more than doubling our bill. Should have read the reviews of how this company operates.
