My Bill was the highest its ever been, this might start off sounding like a bad review.
I called for assistance for help paying it. the team was able to look at a budget and split my bill over 6 months. which give me a lot of peace. im a teacher and im off for the summer. with one income for a few months im grateful they were able to help us. |

Still no power again. No contact.
Contacted West Penn Monday about line disconnected from house due to storm. Told me they would be here by 4pm on Monday. Received update they will be here by 4pm Tuesday. 6pm and no one here. No communication as of yet. Only house left in the area without power. |

Not a good company
I cant even explain how many issues this company has. They will steal your money and you will never get to talk to a real human. Not to mention they just randomly increase the price of your electric. One day youll just get a bill thats triple what it was a month ago. |

Wouldn't recommend them
Horrible. Their auto payment plan sucks. Look forward to getting Screwed over and not taking the money out and bills adding up to where the cost is so much you want to jump off a Bridge. Even when you call them about it and they take full Responsibility and it's their fault they do nothing for you. They expect you to keep an eye on your auto pay well I thought the Purpose of auto pay is not to have to worry about checking and knowing your bills will be paid for every month. They told me it's my fault. For not checking Every payment. Once again that defeats the purpose of auto pay And They blamed the customer. After this happened they talked me into using my bank, not a card anymore. And yes when it happened the first time my card was up to date so I did my bank account this time just in case and because they said it was better to avoid this from ever happening Again After I set it up and confirmed multiple times with them that everything was working right wouldn't you know 3 months later I find out it has not been paying and I got a big bill again what a joke this company is. And good luck with talking to a Supervisor they say one will call you back but they don't I even talked to a different person and they said one will call me back they don't or I would have probably gotten this taken care of. So now I'm going Through Pennsylvania Utility Commission They go after Utility companies that are not doing their job right. I Just Want this fixed. And take responsibility that Their customer service is horrible and does not let you Escalate your problem They put the blame all on you as the customer who's paying for service. |

Good luck
On the phone for another 44 minutes on hold so far. Call them daily and almost impossible to get a live person. once you do they always have to send you to another department. Service pole rotted off, tried to get them to shut the power off. Paid them $110 in advance. Suppose to show up in three business days, a week later still never showed up. ended up putting live wire on new pole myself. 4 months later still trying to get my $110 back. Thats just one example. Called to get service turned on, had to call them 4 different times to actually get it on. Now tried to pay a balance, but have to wait until the bill comes out a month from now., service was shut off yesterday. What a joke. And can't even tell me the consumption or estimated bill. I think they put you on hold hoping you hang up, and usually I finally do. Wish I had other options. About to go off grid completely. |

West penn is the absolute worse
They random cancel your auto pay and then will have to pay 2-3 months at once to get it turned back on , ontop of its constantly down this small area has been down for going on over 12 hr with no update no power food and perishables in the fridge |
