Establishment of a new account for first-time use was easy with changes made in promised allotted time. Documentation of the contract was made available along with any other necessary information needed.

Was offered a variable rate but told don't worry, we wouldn't want to lose your business, so we will be competitive and cheaper than what AEP charges. WRONG! And if the rate is high, was told to call them (Major Energy) and we will help you out. WRONG! When I called back to speak to the person who signed me up, was told no such employee existed. The supplier portion on my bill is 70% more than I would have paid had I stayed with AEP. I should have known better than to fall for the sales pitch. Don't believe their lies!!

They rates increase astronomically once the plan expires. Consider this when signing up!

Avoid this company at all costs. You'll literally pay twice as much compared to your local electric provider. Look up the term "Price Gouging" because that is what you get after your contract with this company.

Scam company. Accepted us into the Ohio Choice Program then right before our service was to start they backed out. Now we are stuck with double the electric bills for 2 months. These guys are garbage and should not be in business.

The company lures you in for a 8 cents KWH price and promised the same 8 cents KWH. However, does not and charges 18 cents KWH. I called a handful of times to address this dispute. Customer services claims Eversource has not adjusted the contract and continue to pay the Eversource bill of $322 a month and the company will reimburse the difference with a prepaid credit card. After four months later I am still paying the 18 cents KWH, no prepaid credit card and No action has been done from this company.

Spend four months figuring out why my bill is so high just to find they've been charging me double the average for my area all year.

I received a letter from JCP&L stating that I switched to Major Energy. I asked for information but not to switch. I immediately called to cancel but 2 months later, I now see it on my bill. Now, I have charges from JCP&L and Major Energy.

Absolutely horrible. Overseas agents sucked. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I was being unprofessional! Could not wait to cancel application and move on to another supplier.

I was contacted about switching to their .049 rates and that it would be variable and I would be informed every month what the new rate would be so I could cancel or continue. After my first initial bill I received one letter saying that the rate would be 8.9. I just received my latest bill and my current rate is $.14 per kilowatt, which is outrageous. I was never told it was going to be that high. When I signed up, the spokespersons said I would be informed. When I called them, I was just told that they dont inform people. All they did was send me a letter saying that my current rate was going to expire and that there was nothing to be done. Do not give them business as they are extremely dishonest about their rates.

I have yet to hear from them. Number listed is not in service.

Company said they sent me a letter saying my one year was ending and they said they included the new rate which was almost four times higher. HOWEVER, I never received the letter and didn't know about the new rate until the bill arrived and it was five times last month's bill. This is a scam company.

Even if you change carriers before the introductory plan ends, there is a month or two for transition to take effect (which is horrible in itself). Rate more than doubled during that interim. Not worth 3 mos of low rate.

The person who represented Major Energy was a fast talking who made you feel that you were getting a great deal. The telephone numbers and names didn't match. Joshu stated he would give a me his managers number, but he answered the phone. What do you get out of deceiving people? I went to cancel, and I was informed it would cost me $100. but he would waive the cancelation fee. I haven't been an hour. Then overhearing others mention another name (outsourcing)

If I ran my business this way I wouldn't have any customers. RUN!

They offer a $100 rebate for the plan I selected, $50 after the first month. They require you to mail the rebate form to them. I had to call to make they received the form. They did receive it but it took almost 2 more months to receive my rebate and they couldn't provide any information on the rebate status when I called several times. Come on Major, make the rebate process easier and electronic. I cancelled after receiving the first $50 rebate. Too much of a hassle.

I own three properties which I changed my supplier online for all three properties to Major Energy on the same day. Instead of having the same start date they were all different, spanning over two months. I never received my rebate as promised even though I sent in an application for one of my properties. I eventually switched two of the properties to a different supplier, but because I was 15 days over my contracted date on the one property they charged me more then double, because it was billed as their variable rate. It cost me more for the 15 days with Major Energy then it cost my new supplier, AEP for a month. I called them they did not offer to change the last 15 days to my original contracted rate or want to work something out with me. So I switched over my last property I had with them back to ppl. Despite not receiving my rebates, I wish the company would have worked with me on the price gauging with my last bill. I wouldn't recommend them in the future.
