“ Company is absolutely horrible. There is almost always a power outage. The sun could be shinning bright and the birds chirping and you guessed it.......poof.......no electricity. Sick and tired of running around the house resetting everything sometimes twice a day! ”
They have useless information on restoration of service. Its basically and automatically 24 hours away, which is meaningless and meant to have you believe it does mean something. It doesnt.

“ I wouldn't have even given them 1 star!! Customer service is rude, my payments are way over our usage for years, I've fought with them! It takes hours for them to fix their mistakes (if they even do). I can't stand this company and EVERYBODY I talk to hates this company!!! Stop robbing our families Met Ed!!!!!!! ”
“ Only giving one star because zero stars isn't an option. But you DO NOT even deserve 1 star. I cannot stand Met-Ed. I delt with them at my old apartment and now here....with NO NOTICE they shut off my electric this morning. They claim they made several attempts...but they had the WRONG contact information on file for me, yet they say I AM RESPONSIBLE for that. After 3 phone calls, being on hold for 45 minutes EACH TIME I called, talking to numerous people, 2 different supervisors and paying $400 they are telling me that my electric still may not be even turn back on for 3 days. This is ridiculous....I have a 6 month old baby and it is 90 outside.I also have health issues myself but because I do not have papers from my doctors proving it, it doesn't count as an emergency. I have no where else to go at the moment. The supervisors rudely interupt you and they do not even attempt to be anywhere close to sympathetic or empathetic to people's situations. When I move, I am making for DAMN SURE that I go some where that does NOT have met-ed so that I NEVER have to deal with this ROTTEN company again. Clearly I am not the first unsatisfied customer. Good luck getting your reputation back! ”
“ The devil you know is better than the devil you haven't met. I am very pleased with the rate Met Ed charges and when I compare it to the other plans available it is still one of the lowest one out there. The others give you a rate that draws you in but after the trial period it will likely go up! I have never changed and it is unlikely that I will change as long as Met Ed remains competitive. ”
