Problems with Fees and Charges (702 reviews)
Always fair price, never any account problems
“
Been with StarTex for a few years now (4 I think) and we've always been
gotten within $.05 / KWh of anyone elses 12 month fixed rates - they've
never jacked us around with big rate hikes when pur contract expires and
renewing fixed rate contracts is painless.
Their web site pretty much can handle anything and I've never had any
billing problems. Even when I had to close my debit card and forgot to
tell them; they got a denied charge but no fees were imposed on me and I
was able to update the card info on their web site.
Been very happy with them. ”

Very Satisfied
“ I have been with TriEagle now for 3 years and have been very satisfied. Their plans are more straightforward than most other companies and you'll not be surprised by hidden fees. Their customer service has been spotty but overall I have been able to get my issues resolved.Comparing electric providers can be very confusing and even deceptive. I feel that TriEagle has made the process simple and their rates are usually some of the best in overall value. ”

Just as Competitive as Other Companies, Excellent Customer Service
“ I have used several providers since the beginning of Deregulation in Texas, this company has always been just as competitive and unlike many other companies, they actually breakdown the Energy and Transmission charges. To some it may seem like a "hidden fee" but other companies just bundle it all up, I like that I can see the two seperate charges. Once I was charged a $7.95 "monthly service fee" for usage less than 1,000 kwh, because my billing dates were not a full month, their customer service representative was happy to waive that fee. Our contract is expiring soon and we will be signing up again, hopefully for a longer term as we have been extremely pleased. ”
