Did the change go through?
I attempted to change from my default provider to American Power and gas 2-3 months ago. I have been checking every bill diligently, but have been unable to determine if the change ever went through. If it did, I have to provide high marks for seamlessness. But I dont know if it did.

Somehow when paying my bill just assumed it was my monthly bill amount and I hit enter only to find out that there was a bill out there for 1000.00 and another amount which was only 57.00 I only owed the 57.00. And upon looking at my checking account the 1,000.00 was deducted so I called and spoke with Jerrod Addison in customer service and explained the situation and he had his supervisor look into it and expedited it because that was my social security payment and would be without any money for the whole month. He called me back in a few days and said that they would be sending me my payment back by check. I just want to thank Jerrod Addison for all his hard work and that he should be reconized for his great customer service work.

I signed up for Direct Energy as my electrical power supplier. All went super well until my term came to an end. Typically, you just find the least expensive provider and sign up and you can automatically switch, not with Direct Energy. I had to call in to cancel and apparently it will take 1 to 2 billing cycles until it goes through. So now I can't shop for a better price because they haven't "released" me. Just isn't a great way to do business.

Electric Bill Still Higher Than Expected
While I am glad to have received a better rate with Constellation, for a fixed 6-month period, no less, I will continue to search for a lower rate because my bill is still considerably higher than I had hoped, despite having gotten new weather stripping and additional insulation added to multiple areas of my house in the past few months.
