SCAM ARTISTS

  Last month we had a young man named Nixon come up to our door to give us a sales pitch. My husband had a job like this in 2020 and since then we've taken pity on sales people and like to hear them out, even if we don't buy anything.

He gave us the pitch and it seemed interesting, but we wanted to look into it ourselves. We said multiple times "We do not want to buy anything today. We do not want to sign up right now." and he confirmed multiple times "No, this is not signing up, it's just information. Someone will contact you to follow up in a few days and if you want to sign up you do it then." We have him on camera saying this.

Well, apparently he lied!! We decided to not go forward with Direct Energy and to stick with the company we already had. It had been a week and I hadn't gotten a call so I decided to reach out and ask them to take us off their call list. Well to my surprise, the lady on the phone said I was already a customer!!!! They went behind our back and signed us up anyway without our consent!

So now we've spent the past two weeks in a dunning and I don't even know who is supplying our electricity and this is going to ROYALLY screw up our light bill and in this economy, that is not an easy thing to handle right now. So far, everyone on their end has been helpful in working with us to return us to our original contract at our old company, but the fact that Nixon lied to our faces on our own property ON CAMERA and signed us up without our knowledge or consent leaves a HORRIBLE taste in my mouth. Based on that alone, I will never sign up with Direct Energy and I will never recommend them to anyone either. They will take advantage of you to make a quick buck on commission.

Dont fall for the 20% scam

  What they fail to tell you is when they say they will never go more than 20% higher. They do not mean higher than others. They mean every month they can charge you 20% higher rate than the rate they gave you the month before So in 3 months you are paying so much more. I never looked at it much and that is what they prey on. Now I am paying 100% increase for my supply!!!

Very very poor customer service

  I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Constellation, a gas company that falls far short of expectations in almost every category. From their unreliable service to poor customer support, there are several reasons why I would advise others to consider alternative gas providers.

First and foremost, the service provided by Constellation is notably inconsistent. Frequent outages and delays have been a common occurrence, leading to significant inconvenience. This inconsistency not only affects daily life but also raises concerns about the dependability of their supply, particularly in critical situations.

Moreover, the customer's experience is further undermined by unhelpful support staff. My attempts to resolve billing issues and service disruptions were met with long wait times and generic responses that did little to address the underlying problems. This lack of effective communication and support is frustrating and unacceptable from a service provider.

On top of the unreliable service and poor customer support, Constellation's pricing is often higher compared to other providers. Considering the quality of service they offer, the cost does not justify the experience. There are numerous other companies that provide more reliable service at competitive rates.

In conclusion, based on my experiences, I would strongly recommend exploring other options before considering Constellation as your gas provider. It's crucial to choose a company that values customer satisfaction and reliability, neither of which are evident with Constellation. Make sure to research and opt for a provider that better meets your needs.

Its been days.

  Horrendous company when it comes to customer service and I don't even have an account yet! I can't wait to see the nightmares after connection, ridiculous. I've been waiting for days on a response, calling the office is an extreme nightmare. Oh but taking your money is easy and quick. Shame on this company!!
