 After my rate lock period expired they increased my fees by almost double. Also they sent me letters with new rates and when they would take affect but they did not match the rates that ended up on my bill. I tried to call them and got a disconnected phone number. DO NOT USE!

 After my contract was done they stated they sent two letters informing us of that fact. We never received them. Then our next bill came in at a whopping .1599 per kilowatt when it had been .063. I called and the only thing they would do was if I signed another 1 year contract at .088 they would take my last bill back to the .063. Why would I sign an entire year at .025 more than whats available now. They win either way. I warned them so now I'm warning you. Stay away from Tomorrow Energy at all costs!! They are scammers and unethical in every respect. PP&L should take them off their preferred energy list so no one else falls into this trap.

 Been an ambit customer for oh.... 7+ years, give or take. To their credit, the first several years went without a hitch. Then one day, I started to notice these... mysterious fees, in small increments $10, 20, 30, 40. So naturally I dialed in each time, asking what is the issue, etc., And their response was because Texas' weather was so unpredictable (No... really?) these 'costs' were way to make up the differences. Fair enough, I thought. No big issue here, I said. This is what I get for living in Texas for nearly 20+ years, right? Stayed in a small, 2-bed apartment and the range was fairly decent ranging from $80-100 (100 was a rarity), so I counted my blessings and kept chugging along.

Then I get hit with a whopping $320 bill.

Flabbergasted, I called in. Get placed on hold for 30 minutes-- at the end there was nothing they could do for me. So even though I only ended up using 80 kWh more, I was expected to pay $200 more because they changed my rate from 3.7 to 29.2. No notice whatsoever. Apparently I didn't read the contract well enough that my rates were subject to change. Apparently they had sent several messages/emails/letters stating this change-- No they didn't. When I confronted the CSR agent, she offered me a 10% discounted credit. Uh... no.

Another thing that grated my nerves... she said that other people were paying a lot more than my measly $320. My response? So? What does that have to do with my situation, my budget, my cost of living? Sure, $320 may not be a lot for some, but if I had money, would I be calling in to complain? I also got chastised for venting too much (she gave me plenty of time to 'vent' she says). WOW.

All those years ruined by one phone call. There is no guarantee that my rates won't go up next month. So should I prepare to pay $80 or $320? You decide!!

There are better companies out there. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS ONE.

Crammed, now worried the will do it again

 Yearly contracts are a pain. I make calendar alerts to help manage them. In the end, I only use zero fee, 12 mo and stay for about 10 months.

So why is my title 'Crammed'. Last year Great American Power sold(?) my contract to Oasis. I receive letters about this transfer in May. So I changed my contract by using PaPowerSwitch.

The change finalize in June 2017... then three days later, WHAM, Oasis was suddenly my supplier. Not sure how that works. I never agreed to them being my supplier so this is cramming. I suddenly had a 1YR contract (rate was good so I stuck with them. Couldn't understand the customer service person and couldn't determine if there was a fee to leave).

So here we are today, I've now switched away from Oasis (months before contract ends). I received the 'Letter' of the new rate which is more than double my old rate. I have tried calling Oasis but their computer systems are conveniently down (and can't access any account information).

I check everyday to make sure my new supplier is still there. 
Oasis Energy responds April 23rd, 2018:
We apologize for the issues regarding the acquisition of your account. It appears that there may have been an issue with the timing of the switch to Oasis and your request to switch to a new supplier via Pa Power Switch; however, we would need to review the account and your enrollment details with Pa Power Switch to confirm.

Also, I'd like to apologize if the system was down when you contacted us. There was a brief period in the beginning of April when we could not access customer information. Can you please email our Office of the President at officeofthepresident@oasisenergy.com so we may review the account details and your calls? Thank you.
