SAVE MONEY FOR WHAT YOU WANT!

 I use a different electric provider every year because in Pennsylvania, I can pick a gas provider which makes the most sense from an economic standpoint. I shop around and eventually, the competitive nature of the power supply in Pennsylvania pays off for me. Now, I switched to Vista and my motivation was financial because there was a standard charge of $30 a month but the kilowatt per hour charge on top of that is half of what I was paying before. So, it will save me money and I can put all the extra money into insulating my house.

I researched online and tried to fit where I wanted to be financially regardless of the companys service. Some of the marketing was saying that it is a renewable energy but all energies are renewable to the same extent and if the company is able to supply power at a lower cost that is ultimately coming from fewer resources, otherwise, the cost would be higher. It is coming down to the reliable supply of power which is PPL. So, as long as Vista can get the power through PPL and the bill works out the way that I expected to, then I'll stay with them. Vista keeps the power on at our home and that is what I'm paying for. Also, if the pricing model works out for them, they make sure that they have the base number coming through, and they are able to offer reduced rates on the power on top of that, that is whats gonna keep me with Vista. Id recommend them.

 Constellation communicates with their customers each month and gives them a comparison of the amounts of electricity used from month to month. They also give suggestions on how to cut power costs in your home. I have been more than satisfied with their service. They also began reminding me several months ago that my contract with them is about to expire and offered options to stay with them or find another provider.

Billing is rediculous

 I received a $248.90 bill for gas ($24.78) and electric ($224.12) The bill has sky-rocked from last Month (which was warmer through out the whole month). I called and was told it was due to the weather. Which certainly doesn't seem right. I live in a apartment community in the smallest 1 bedroom in the whole complex.I also work at the complex and know what a lot of people are paying for their PECO. I am paying more than a 2 bedroom townhome. Which those folks have to heat/cool a first and a second floor. The SAME thing happened last year for the July bill except that was even higher in the $350 range. I called and tried to explain this but I was transferred to have an Audit done which of course you have to pay for as well. I am Just at a loss for words currently. I am very disappointed in their billing.

Don't choose them!

 During a ultra busy time in life I missed the letter for renewal of Frontier - and had not been worried about it because I figured the rate would only be raised 10 or 20 percent of the intro rate. Boy was I wrong! They jacked the rate up more than double. At first I thought our home usage must be up because of the hard winter in PA. Then the rate was still excessive in the spring so I called and found out they had jacked the rate much higher than PECO or anyone else would charge. They would not negotiate a decrease so I cancelled. We lost hundreds of dollars by missing the renewal date so watch out!

Harassing sales reps!

 For all those people saying others are stupid for not listening to the rep saying you have to call after the promotion period, hear me out. THE SALES PERSON DID NOT TELL ME YOU HAD TO DO THIS. In fact, the guy straight up LIED TO MY FACE and said it was a fixed rate, which is completely FALSE. I also did not give him permission to sign me up, I told him straight up, I'd have to discuss this with my S.O. before I commit to anything, yet he somehow weaseled his way to manipulate me into signing some shit, saying he WASNT signing me up, that it was just for future reference that'll make signing up easier and I'd be added to the mailing list. When I got home and checked my email, I called immediately to cancel. Someone called me later that day to survey me on my experience. This lady was extremely unenthused and rude. The same rep who got me to sign up harasses me every single time I come into the store. He was aggressive and nasty to me ever since. I've had to tell managment of the walmart they post up in about this experience because its extremely unprofessional. I just had to write this experience on here to warn people about these sales reps. They're truly terrible people.

DO NOT SIGN UP!

 I was talked into this at Walmart. First she claimed my current rate was .07 but it was not when I checked. Then I started checking the reviews & contract. They can increase your rate as much as 30% after 3 months. I have since been trying to get this service rescinded/cancelled and still have not received confirmation. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH NRG HOME!

Power supply drains

 My husband and I began to worry we had an electrical problem throughout our home. Then I recalled when the dimming started. It was when I switched to aep.
Once I switched away from them, it stopped. They can not supply enough power to my home. I wouldnt recommend them.
