  Absolutely horrible. Overseas agents sucked. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I was being unprofessional! Could not wait to cancel application and move on to another supplier.

Rate went up with NRG.

  Another Walmart bad experience with NRG in store salesman. Basically was told my rates would go down. First month, four days actually, my electric bill had a $14.63 NRG charge in addition to my normal monthly charge. It was somewhat difficult cancelling NRG. I havent gotten my latest gas bill. I dread to think what it may cost. Stay away from NRG.

  Signed up after hearing a sales pitch in a Sam's Club. Company lied to us about the rates and our bill was 2x what it should have been, but when we called to try and sort it out they just shuffled us around and no one was helpful.

We decided to cancel and go back to our old company and canceled the credit card we were paying Just Energy with so they couldn't take money from us. They've been harassing us with phone calls and e-mails since, which we've been blocking and ignoring.

Saturday they took out a line of credit in our name without permission, charging us for all the money we'd have owed them for the past few months and labeling it delinquent. We've had to call the credit company to get it removed and reported it as fraud, and we'll be contacting law enforcement as well over this.

Do not so much as even talk to their reps. Once they have your info they'll change you over without permission and as soon as they do that you're in for a nightmare trying to deal with them. This company needs to be shut down asap.

  A nice man persistently kept me standing there talking about my electric bill when I just ran into Sams club after working all day for a few needed items on a Friday night. He insisted this would make my bill cheaper and it was needed. He was flirty, well dressed & suave. I explained how I couldnt afford a higher bill, I was on a payment plan already. He assured I would get a gift card for sams, I needed this, it would make my bill overall better & cheaper by securing a rate and not interfere or give any problems. Everything was a lie. I never received a sams club gift card, he was only out for a sale for himself, it made me ineligible for my payment plan, doubled my electric bill per month. I now have a shut off notice and no way to get in another plan because this manipulative con & Just energy who trained him to work for them in this manner have scammed me, Im left in a horrible situation with my finances, budget, electric bill, stress level and payment history with a utility company Ive been with for years. This company will rob you and not offer any reassurance, responsibility or resolution. They bully their way with their mouth into your utility bill getting all of your information and interfering. They want nothing but a gain for themselves. STEER CLEAR!

  During the summer, a representative knocked on my door asking for my information, informing me they were the new supplier in the area and needed to update my meter. I believed the deceit. Months later I learn they are charging me over the average rate that AEP themselves offer. I canceled, and on my next bill I received a $150 early termination charge. I was not aware of this charge, not when I signed up or when I cancelled. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable behavior. Be honest about your fees. I cancelled because I couldn't afford the overpriced fee, and you charge me an arm and a leg.

  Never signed up for this. People came to the door and talked about duke energy. Never signed anything. Maybe this isnt protocol but the people sure didnt care. Somehow it got added to our electric bill and stuck us with an extra $500.
