AEP Energy -- Profile Analysis

Every damn time we hire AEP for a disconnect/reconnect, it takes 3+ hours for them to show up.

Every technician that comes out is amazing, very respectful.

We find ourselves calling multiple times, saying the same thing they are on their way no, theyre not.
The customer service hotline seems to always have problems contacting the drivers.

HUGE shoutout to Mary Joe for getting us hooked up, literally and figuratively.

I transferred service recently, the initial customer representative confirm everything is okay with the transfer. Down the road, my service was disconnected. I called AEP, they explained need minimum payment never told originally. If there's another provider in my area I would consider new service.

They are horrible about getting back to you and they dont push the right buttons on there key boards from home . And they dont care either

Extremely poor service. Refused to answer my questions. Very poor communication.

Auto renewed my policy after I canceled. I was over charged over 4 moths ago. Every time i call in I get the runaround. They just stole my money and wont pay it back.

I had a 36 month fixed contract that they cancelled after 7 months. They offered a rate that was over 40% higher per CCF. This was a FIXED natural gas contract yet the excuse was market rates.

Not that they read this or give a damn about their costumers.
Tree branch falls, over half of Marietta without power. Power comes back on in our neighborhood hours later, then three hours later goes off again. New notice says now 3 Am until back on. The power goes out with these morons more in year then it did in 30 years with any other provider, then they are too stupid to ever get it back on, or fix in one area only screw it up in other. Hate AEP, wish I could choose anyone else, but when you have a monopoly.

AEP Energy emailed me with an offer of $.074 per kilowatt hour. I attempted to enroll and was told my account with PECO didn't exist. That is because I am with PP&L and no mistake on my part was made with enrolling properly. I then was told the new rate would be $.099. Many other cheaper options!!! FRAUD!!!!
