They've been servicing customers for a long time.

I'm completely shocked

  I had received a number of calls and a disconnect notification and my bill was 3 days late who does that and the women I spoke with in customer service was rude

  Beware of this company they change their prices they tell you one plan then put you on another this company charge me for $600 every month saying that its my AC that was the problem I went on vacation the month of June and my bill was still over $600 for the month do not join TXU they are crooks I hope they shut down from people leaving there service

  Ridiculously high bill in Texas. Keeping our thermostat at 78 and our bill being $300 for July. Absolutely nuts. We keep most lights off and power usage down. This is insane and well be switching.

Totally unfair

  About four years back, I was shopping around for electricity providers and had reached out to TXU Customer service to know about their plan. Then I took the service from Ambit. No I moved to a house and the previous owner was taking the service from TXU, I called them to connect the service then they told me that I had $26 and some change due on my account. I was surprised and mad at the same time. I have never received bill neither on my post or email but I paid now. I think I will change the service provider.

  This company is such a rip off! They told me I had free nights when in reality they do charge if you use more energy at night than during the day! For a one bedroom 650 sq ft I was paying over $100 a month! That is completely insane! Their customer service is completely rude and non helpful.

I should never have switched to TXU!

  I let a sales rep talk me into switching to TXU with promises of a more equalized summer billing. My bills have been consistently higher all year long instead. Today, I realized it must be time to pay the bill. When I accessed my account I see that it was due on July 19, yes, three days ago. And for that, they had issued a disconnect notice set for August 2. I cannot imagine how they think that is even ball park customer service.

  I live in a 3bd 2ba apartment that is 1380 sq ft. Its over $300 almost every month. I dont know if its my AC but Ive tried keeping it at 76 and I about died. This IS Texas after all. I like their customer service but I get really sad that my energy bill is almost as much as my car payment at this point. I used to be with TERA and I never went over $100 in a 3bd 2ba apt

Worst customer service I have ever experienced!

  When ordering my electric service the person on the phone did not speak English well enough to be trying to provide customer service as she could not understand my conversation. She set me up as the Owner of my apartment instead of as the Resident.
I have been trying to cancel the Business account that I am stuck with for several days and since the TXU customer service is provided by some foreign country I have given up hope for ever getting this error corrected. When I reviewed my account agreement I read that I have to keep TXU service for a year or there will be a $150.00 cancellation fee!! Outrageous Corporate Greed!

  Txu charges me same amount each day. I live in 1 bedroom apartment. Days im not even home, turn everything off. They lie about checking your meter. I am switching over hopefully this will help someone else make a better decision choosing their power company. I have talk to 6 different people and nobody can give me a straight answer on why this is happening. I paid less living in a 4 bedroom house then in my 1 bedroom apartment.

  been with txu over 10 years multiple accts and as soon as I went from month to month the nightmare started. They even changed my neighbors service to my name and he plans to sue me. Customer service is non existant. Virtual service is all you can get and take 10 to 15 questions to go beyond virtual assistance or more.

  I start the service in August-2020 with them and based on their recommendations I start the service with summer saving but I end up with 968.00 bill for the first month and when I called and asked why the center point charge is the same or higher than my electricity charge they tried to convince me that all electric company have the same charges, which is not true. I called my neighbor a they recommended the pulse power, so I called and start the service and very happy with them and guess what there is no extremely high center point charges. I just want to put this out for public to know before the signup with TXU energy.

  Was getting outrageously high bills and high "delivery charges" tacked on as well. Found another provider that catered to low usage much better and cut my bill in half!! New provider total bill is almost as low as "delivery charges" from TXU? what is going on? Stay away.

  I dont know if anyone really reads these are not but I wouldnt go with TXU. They will lie to you about your bill, they will make your bill higher every month and when you do decide to quit using them they will harass you every single week at least 2 or 3 times a week before the final bill is due. They started harrassing me before I got my final bill in the mail, it was only a day after I switched that they started harrassing me. They are rude and unprofessional. I wouldnt use this company ever again. They are already having bankruptcies and lawsuits. They truly are the worst company ever and I wish that I would have known that when my husband and I moved to this area. Listen well learned!

  I spoke to an agent who told me they would disconnect my electric on Dec 15th when I was moving. So, I moved to my new apartment and continued to use TXU there thinking it was off at my old address. Come to find out the agent never had it taken out of my name at the old apartment. Now, TXU will not take off the charges from their own mistake. absolutely, ridiculous horrible service and how they treat their customers. Ever representative will tell you something different.
