Untruthful Sales Representative

“ On 10/24/23 I was advised I had to switch energy suppliers. Yasmin came to my apartment when I was working from home on a call. I had just moved to PA a couple months ago. Yasmin kept demanding me to accept the switch and advised me that this was mandatory to the apartment complex I live in. If I did not accept, she said she would come back several times. This statement made me feel obligated to enroll as my understanding was this switch was mandatory with a deadline. She touched my phone to accept the contract. I didnt put in credit card information but they were able to switch as she used my account number. After everything was done, I took a breath and realized I might have been lied to. I talked with locals (my new colleagues lol) and researched on reddit, apparently this manipulation is not uncommon to PA residents. I called my apartment complex and they confirmed Spring Power and Gas lied to me to receive a sale. I canceled right away, therefore, I am unsure how to review their price/account management. ”

Termination fee

“ Notified Tomorrow Energy with less the month on contract that I would be switching providers. I had been told by them last year that I would not be charged a termination fee if I found a new provider within the last 30 days of my contract time. They said they know I would need to reach out to a new provider before my contract ended. However, when I contacted them today with less than 30 days remaining on my contract, I was told that I would be charged the $75 termination fee. In order to not be charged the fee, I need to switch after the contract expires. ”

“ I had never heard of this company until I received my letter from Peco stating I had switched to them as my new supplier. Called Peco had it changed back then called All American Power. They said it was a clerical error...They seem to have a lot of clerical errors.....Open those letters from Peco you never know what's inside. ”

“ I was switched to this company without my knowledge or approval they charged me .15 cents per kilowatt. My electric bill more then doubled! I received a bill from peco for over $350 for that previous month. I called and questioned it, they said It was cause my new supplier was way!! Over charging me! This is a huge legal issue and fraud! ”

RIP OFF

“ Don't sign up with this company!!! They get you in at a low price for 3 months, expecting that you won't check your electric bill. After the 3 months fixed rate expires, the rate gets stupid high and keeps going up especially once the air conditioner shuts off for the season; they try to keep the $$$ the same on your bill by raising the rate. ”
